At Ridgeway Church, we believe marriage is a gift of God, designed to flourish in loving, covenant-mutuality. The biblical purpose of marriage may involve procreation, recreation, spiritual formation and sacred illustration.

The focus of Marriage Ministry is to encourage, enrich, and empower marriages to thrive and fulfill its mission as a “mysterious metaphor”, designed to reflect God’s relationship with us and Christ’s love for the church.

Our Marriage Ministry exists to strengthen and support couples at every stage - newlyweds, those navigating parenthood, empty-nesters and couples seasoned in marriage.

Through Christ-centered teaching, community, and encouragement, we help couples grow in love, deepen their commitment, and demonstrate God’s design for marriage in a broken world. This may influence and transform marital culture for Christ!

Through Bible-based studies, marriage workshops, date nights, retreats, and real conversations, we create space for couples to grow in intimacy, communication, and faith.

Our events are practical, encouraging, and filled with wisdom to help you build a Christ-centered marriage that lasts. It's not about being perfect—it’s about being committed.

The biblical purpose of marriage involves physical procreation and recreation, coupled with spiritual formation and illustration!

Married couples of all ages are invited to attend our monthly (One Saturday Of The Month) gatherings for food, fun, fellowship, and relational formation.

What We Do

Annual Marriage Retreat

A weekend getaway at an area retreat center for refreshment and renewal (usually held in March/April).

Monthly 2X3 Couple Meals

An opportunity to meet and fellowship with other Ridgeway couples - three couples sharing a meal together at a home or local eatery.

Marriage 911

An outreach-service program where Ridgeway “bridge-couples” meet for a meal with a community couple in need, followed by one or two, no-fee counseling sessions with Ridgeway counselors.

Monthly Marriage Potluck Gatherings

A social event for fun, food, fellowship and a brief devotional to encourage marriage life (usually the 4th Saturday of every month). Registration is required and childcare is often provided.
