Andy is the son of John and Jean Mercurio. He is married to Gillian and has three adult children and one grandchild (so far!). He currently serves Ridgeway as Director of Pastoral Care and Counseling. Andy is an ordained minister with the C&MA and pastored in two Alliance churches for 10 years. He earned a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary and Doctor of Ministry from Eastern University. As a licensed marriage and family therapist and board certified sex therapist, Andy desires to bring relational health to individuals, couples and families in ways that honor God. He has served as a graduate school professor in counseling and marriage & family therapy (MFT) for over 20 years and most recently as Director of the M.A. Program in MFT at Nyack College/Alliance University. In addition to liking history, running, sign language, reading C.S. Lewis and Alexander MacLaren, Andy has yet to meet an ice cream flavor beyond his ability to enjoy.
